Hoeg Dental Laser Dentistry

Our practice proudly employs the latest in dentistry, and uses laser dentistry for hard and soft tissue procedures. Laser dentistry can be used to correct many problems from uncovering partially erupted wisdom teeth to removing lip pulls in orthodontic patients. Lasers can also obtain small tissue samples in biopsy procedures to detect lesions or potential tumors in the mouth. Laser dentistry has several advantages over traditional surgical options, including less bleeding, swelling and discomfort following many common procedures.

BIOLASE

We proudly use the BIOLASE laser technology in our office. BIOLASE has developed a variety of dental lasers to enhance patient comfort and improve visibility. The new techniques use laser-energized water to cut the teeth instead of other drilling methods. There is no heat or vibration associated with their laser systems as opposed to regular drilling methods; thus, it may ease the tension from even the most anxious person. The BIOLASE lasers can aid in hard and soft tissue procedures. Ask us for more information about this new technology in our office.
